I was working on a job when a woman called asking for help. Her mother-in-law had passed away and she was overwhelmed. She was just at a loss. Literally and emotionally. Trying to decide what to keep, what to donate, who to call, or where to even begin. I tried to help with what I could, but I realized she needed so much more than that—she needed someone to say ‘here’s the first step, here’s what comes next, and here’s who can help.’
That conversation stuck with me. I realized there wasn’t a single place for families in crisis to get real answers. So I built one.
